I am an educator, cultural producer, and arts administrator with twenty years of global experience building programs, initiatives, and curricula. I engage with artists and communities to develop meaningful ways to connect, learn, and create. My curatorial and programmatic work is grounded in place-based and culturally responsive pedagogies, and my training in sociology and art history allows me to draw connections across time, space, and disciplines. My practice is increasingly informed by ecology, particularly how permaculture is also a framework for responsive arts and cultural engagement.

In addition to my creative practice, I enjoy strategic planning and management. My transformational leadership approach supports teams to do their best work–from my role as Founding Head of Education at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art, to recognition for community service at the Aspen Art Museum with an IMLS National Medal, to assembling equity-centered community partnerships at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis. My emotional intelligence and deep love of learning generate energy and momentum that feeds high-impact work.
